Australian finger lime

The finger lime, also known as the caviar lime, is a small, thorny tree or shrub native to Australia's subtropical rainforests. The fruit is round to teardrop-shaped and can be bright green, red, or deep purple-brown. When cut, the fruit's juice vesicles burst into individual sacs that resemble caviar, earning it its nickname. Finger limes taste similar to regular limes but are slightly sweeter and have a popping boba texture.
