Frequently Asked Questions

These are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions that we get from customers.  If you have additional questions not answered below, please do not hesitate to contact us and ask.

  • Where can't you ship citrus?
We do not ship to AZ, CA, FL, HI, LA, TX or Outside of the US (No shipping to Canada)

  • Why is of your budwood out of stock?
In the spring the trees we cut budwood from go through a Spring flush and that wood is too tender to cut and ship as usable budwood.  So we stop selling budwood until it is ready to ship again.  That can take up to 90 days.

  • I placed my order yesterday and it didn't ship yet?
We ship Monday or Tuesdays so its possible your order will not ship for up to 7  days depending on when you place your order.  Shipping could be also be delayed due to cold weather.

  • Its cold here right now but.. Can I pay now and you ship in the spring?
As a result of enough people asking we have changed our policy on allowing orders to be held until spring shipping.  If a tree is in stock, you can now place an order from a state that we can ship to, but currently aren't shipping to due to weather restrictions.  Those orders will be pulled and maintained separately until we can ship your order in the first few weeks of spring.  We will not however be able to ship orders early to fit them into "warm weather" windows.

  • What rootstock are your varieties grafted to?
We use a variety of rootstock that vary per variety but has been selected for best reliability, and best attributes for that variety.

  • What kind of pots do your trees ship in?
Our trees grow and then ship in 4" x 4" x 13.5" Tall Tree Pots or 3 gallons.  We choose to grow and ship in these larger containers because we believe it allows us to provide our customers with a healthier tree.

  • What should I do when my trees arrive?
Unbox your trees as soon as they arrive. If you are going to repot your tree, use a pot that is at least 14" deep.  Carefully remove the pot from the tree, without disturbing the soil add your preferred potting mix around the existing soil.  Fill pot almost to the top but do not plant the tree any deeper than it was originally  planted.

  • Do you offer a warranty or guarantee?
We do our best to see the highest quality trees, at the lowest prices we can so our customers get the best value possible.  As a result we are not able to replace trees that are killed due to conditions beyond our control.  We stand by the trees we send and will be sure they get to you as healthy as possible, after that their care is in your hands so their is no warranty expressed or implied.
